The internet has brought with it convenient ways to communicate with colleagues, friends, and family instantly from different geographic locations. With several instant messaging and email service providers offering great solutions, you no longer have to wait long to hear from the people you love.
There are dedicated applications and websites for most messaging platforms which are designed to allow users easy access to all functions at improved speeds. Although these official clients keep you up to date by refreshing your inboxes automatically, keeping track of all messages from each one can be exhausting. Rambox brings them all into one application.
Rambox is a feature-packed computer application that makes it possible for you to view and respond to messages from multiple instant messaging and email accounts without hassle. It eliminates the distraction from having several pinned tabs on your browser or multiple programs running in the background that may slow down your PC.
It has a well-designed interface that enables you to handle multiple emails as well as other web-based messaging services conveniently. The program can also handle more than one account of a particular email or messaging service, so you do not have to sign out from one to use the other.
You can set up accounts from email service providers like Yahoo, Outlook, Gmail, Hushmail, ProtonMail, Office 365, and Tutanota. Other supported messaging services include Yahoo Messenger, Voxer, WeChat, Steam Chat, Slack, Wire, Grape, Telegram, Facebook Messenger, Google Hangouts, Skype, WhatsApp web, HipChat, GroupMe, Gitter, and lots more.
The main software window displays several available messaging and email services on the left side when launched. Users can configure custom services through the “Add a new Service feature”, as well as filter the type of service that is displayed on the main window, whether Email or Messaging. Having a Rambox account lets you create a backup of your configurations, making it accessible on all connected devices.
Clicking the icon for the desired web service allows you to input your login credentials for instant access to your account. All active accounts are displayed under the “Enabled Services” section on the right side of the screen. Active services are also accessible from the tab-bar on top of the screen, with notifications displayed for each one when you get new messages.
You can toggle the Don’t Disturb feature on or off, depending on your availability to respond to incoming messages. The “Lock Rambox” feature lets you set up a secure password to prevent unauthorized access to your private messages, especially when you are not the only one that is using the computer.
You can remove services that are no longer in use. From each active service tab, you can access its key features which are available on the official website. These include inbox, drafts, junk, and channels, among others. There are plans to make the interface available in various languages other than English for new releases.
Rambox comes in handy when you have to respond to business-related or private interactions promptly. With support for several web-based messaging and email services, you can stay connected at all times, regardless of the number of accounts that you have.
